Further to its PR dated June 20, 2017, Maple Leaf Green World Inc (CVE:MGW) reported that along with BioNeva Innovations of Henderson LLC, the company has filed a Medical Marijuana Establishment Certificate transfer application to the City of Henderson, pursuant to which executives from the City of Henderson will contemplate the transfer of the ‘Nevada Permit’ from BioNeva Innovations to the Company.
This application comprises the necessary documents for such filing, including architectural blueprints set by a U.S. architecture firm for Maple Leaf’s projected cannabis production Nevada site.
The staff panel will assess and remark on the Transfer Application, comprising making recommended changes to the planned design for the Nevada Site. This assessment is anticipated to take place in this month when the “Council” intends to meet and consider cannabis license matters. Maple Leaf understands that BioNeva and the company has adequate time to make any recommended changes from the Staff Panel prior to the Transfer Application is proposed to the Council for approval.
Once granted by the Council, the firm anticipates to start ordering materials and obtaining construction contracts for advancement on the Nevada Site. The firm still anticipates to close construction of the Nevada Site by the close of 2017.
Maple Leaf reported that it has finalized an investor relations deal with Big Reach Media, Inc. whereby Big Reach will offer certain services to company that may be thought investor relations and promotional measures on its behalf which need disclosure in this PR pursuant to the policies of the “TSXV”.
Based on the approval of the “TSXV”, and as per the terms of the Investor Relations deal, the firm will compensate a monthly fee of $5,000 to Big Reach. The agreement terms are effective August 1, 2017 and remains applicable for a preliminary term of six months.
