The company has a chain of retail stores under its cannabis store brand and an 80,000 square foot production facility in Canada, Winnipeg area.

One of the primary objects of Delta 9 Cannabis is to bring into the market high-quality products. Through its retail sales channels, the company sells its cannabis grow pods to various businesses. And this has occasioned strategic expansion of its footprint in Canada following the acquisition of two retail cannabis stores in Edmonton, Alberta.

“…these two new Edmonton locations represent an expansion of Delta 9’s already successful presence in Calgary and Grande Prairie. We are very excited to be able to serve the Edmonton retail market as our expansion throughout Alberta continues,” the company’s CEO, John Arbuthnot, announced.

The Opening of Thirteenth Cannabis Store

Delta 9 Cannabis Store spent about $2,350,000 for the acquisition. Of this, $940,000 was satisfied by issuing 2,243,437 common shares in the capital stock of the company. The balance was paid in cash, with $175,000 remaining held in escrow for six months.

As this unfolded, the company made the City of Selkirk the new home for its most unique retail store. Despite the presence of the pandemic, Delta 9 has had a sustained pace of growth. Thanks to the continued familiarity of its brand in Western Canada. The new store will accomplish, among other things, the strengthening of the company’s network of stores.

The new store’s location is at the heart of the downtown core at the Arena Plaza Mall. And this being the main street, it is the primary location for retail businesses and some of the city’s most prominent shopping destinations. The nearest tenants are Sport Check, Dollarama, Walmart Super Center, and Home Hardware. Meanwhile, customers will have the privilege of a wide range of products, including edibles, vape pens, cannabis oil, concentrates, and drinkables.
