Axim Biotechnologies Inc (OTCMKTS: AXIM) Appoints Dr. Henry D. Perry to Medical Advisory Board

Axim Biotechnologies Inc (OTCMKTS: AXIM) has appointed a new member to its Medical Advisory Board. Henry D. Perry, M.D, the appointee, is the third member hired for the board which Axim recently established. The other two members are Laura Periman and Joseph Tauber.

Awards Henry D. Perry has received

Dr. Perry is one of the top refractive and cornea surgeons in the U.S. He received the Life Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Perry has also won many awards for Best Doctor. Moreover, Newsweek magazine ranked him among the 150 best ophthalmologists in the U.S, 2021.

In addition, he is a founding partner for Ophthalmology Consultants of Long Island. He also works as the chief, Cornea Service at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. Since 1987 Dr. Perry has served in the Lions Eye Bank, Long Island, Northwell Health as the medical director

According to the CEO of Axim, John W. Huemoeller II, the company is excited to work with Dr. Perry. He has vast experience in research and clinical work that matches the expertise of Axim’s other appointees.

Huemoeller adds that the company has chosen some of the top ophthalmologists in the field of Ocular Surface Disease and Dry Eye Disease (DED) to serve on its board. These appointments show Axim’s commitment to its DED division and the economic and medical value it has.

Henry D. Perry’s medical background

Dr. Perry attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he received his degree in medicine. He then proceeded to the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute and Nassau County Medical Center, finishing his residency.

At the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Washington D.C, Perry earned a fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology. He received another one in cornea and external disease at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Harvard University. Afterward, Dr. Perry served as a Major in Medical Corps at New Jersey, Fort Dix, San Antonio, and Fort Sam Houston when he joined the U.S Army.

Dr. Henry has written more than 200 chapters and papers on ophthalmic pathology and corneal and refractive surgery. He has also given more than 500 lectures worldwide.
